The Downstairs

The Downstairs is a unique, membership-supported community space in Ithaca, NY, dedicated to hosting "outsider" non-profit driven music performances and other arts events. Located below The Watershed, it provides an intimate setting for musicians, poets, comedians, and more, without taking a percentage of the door charge or merchandise sales. The venue relies on beverage sales and contributions to its Programming Fund for support.
