Smith Opera House in Geneva, NY, is a historic treasure built in 1894 by William Smith. Designed by Pierce & Bickford, this elegant brick-and-stone theater was reimagined in 1931 by Victor Rigaumount, blending Art Deco and Baroque styles. Once part of the Schine Theater Chain, it became The Geneva Theater under Panther Enterprises before reverting to its original name in 1983. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, it’s a cultural cornerstone of Downtown Geneva.
