Brandon Woody's Upendo is a Baltimore jazz quartet led by trumpeter and composer Brandon Woody, with Troy Long on keys, Michael Saunders on bass, and Quincy Phillips on drums. Their sound blends jazz improvisation, gospel, soul, and hip-hop. Woody signed with Blue Note Records in 2024 and released his debut album For The Love Of It All in May 2025, drawing praise from the New York Times, LA Times, and Downbeat.
