2026 Rochester Jazz Festival - Club Pass Series

Rochester-based jazz pianist, composer, and educator with a career spanning five decades. He performed with Chet Baker, Gerry Mulligan, Woody Herman, and the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra, and composed "Tidal Breeze," which Chet Baker recorded. He served as Jazz Studies Chair at the Eastman School of Music from 2002 to 2011, holds Professor Emeritus status there, and has recorded more than thirty albums on the SteepleChase and Sunnyside labels.
