Jamie Baum is a New York City-based flutist, composer, and bandleader whose work spans jazz, contemporary classical, and Latin music. She leads the Jamie Baum Septet+, whose recent recording "What Times Are These" has drawn critical praise. A 2014 Guggenheim Fellow, she has been nominated by the Jazz Journalists Association for Flutist of the Year fourteen times and ranked in the DownBeat Critics Poll annually since 1998.
