Jamile is a Brazilian-born jazz vocalist, composer, and educator based in New York City, blending modern jazz with Brazilian musical traditions. She holds a Master's in Jazz Studies from City College of New York and has performed at Birdland, Smalls, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Critics describe her voice as evoking "the dark timbres of Sarah Vaughan." Her 2025 album "Pursuit of a Pulse" was released on Cellar Music Group.
