Waxahatchee is the indie music project of singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, founded in 2010 after the breakup of P.S. Eliot. Named after an Alabama creek, it began as an acoustic solo act but now features a full band. Crutchfield has released six albums, including Saint Cloud (2020) and Tigers Blood (2024), a Grammy-nominated Americana record. She was also part of the duo Plains with Jess Williamson.
